Dr. Carrie Nantais earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2017. Dr. Nantais completed her clinical internship in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Substance Abuse treatment with Veterans at the John Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. She was also trained extensively at Detroit Receiving Hospital, Oakwood Hospital, and Crittenton Hospital, working in neuropsychology as well as primary care/health psychology integration and trauma care. Dr. Nantais previously earned a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) degree in 2005 from Boston College. Prior to her psychology career, she worked as a director for social justice advocacy on domestic and international issues for the Jesuits in the United States.
Dr. Nantais is a member of the American Psychological Association, Division 39 (Psychoanalysis) and Division 56 (Trauma Psychology). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, knitting, yoga, and sleeping.
