Dr. Karaca is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with both a Masters and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Argosy University Washington School of Professional Psychology. Her professional experience includes a post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology with a large group practice involving comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations to adults and children with a wide range of neurologic conditions, developmental disabilities, learning disabilities and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders. Dr. Karaca has subsequently provided these same services in private practice since 2014, working primarily with patients with known or suspected dementing conditions, traumatic brain injury, seizure disorders, strokes and known exposure to toxins. Dr. Karaca also regularly provides assessments for children and adolescents who may be struggling academically or behaviorally to determine the possible presence of learning disabilities, attentional disturbance or emotional/behavioral disorders of childhood or adolescence that may be disrupting academic achievement. Dr. Karaca is committed to working with individuals and families to answer diagnostic questions and provide appropriate treatment planning. Lastly, Dr. Karaca is skilled with providing pre-operative behavioral health evaluations for bariatic surgery and pain stimulator implantation.
Dr. Karaca’s publication history includes a study in a refereed journal investigating the efficacy of a measure of performance validity in neuropsychological assessment.
Dr. Karaca is a member of the American Psychological Association (Division 40) and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
