Laurene Saad, Psy.D., LP earned a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in Gerontology from Wayne State University in 2010. She continued her studies and earned a Psy.D, in Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Saad has extensive experience working with late adolescents with behavioral issues and adults with traumatic brain injuries and dementia, providing individual and group psychotherapy and administering and scoring neuropsychological test batteries. Additional areas of specialization include anxiety/ panic disorders, depression, adjustment disorders, geriatric issues and grief and loss. Dr. Saad believes that treatment is unique for each client and is determined by his or her own goals and needs. Her approach to therapy varies with each client, ranging from cognitive-behavioral techniques to utilization of a humanistic approach. Treatment is tailored to each individual and therapy is focused on finding what works for each individual client.
