Alexis Amos is a master’s-level psychotherapist who provides psychotherapy services to adults. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Wayne State University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical Psychology at the Michigan School of Psychology, where she is continuing to develop her clinical skills in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and neuropsychological evaluation.
Her clinical interests include neuropsychological assessment, with a particular interest in understanding the relationship between cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and medical factors. Through her doctoral training, Alexis is gaining experience in the assessment of cognitive functioning and psychological concerns that may affect an individual’s daily life and overall well-being.

In psychotherapy, Alexis works with adults experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and difficulties with coping and adjustment. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and individualized, with an emphasis on helping patients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical strategies for meaningful change. Alexis plans to continue specializing in adult neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy as she progresses through her doctoral training.
